Important Information about the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The NHS in North West London and Public Health England (are well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases. The NHS has put in place measures to protect patients, our community and NHS staff while ensuring as many services as possible are available to the public.

If you have symptoms associated with coronavirus including a new continuous cough and a high temperature, you are advised to stay at home for 7 days.

Please do not book a GP appointment or attend your GP practice.

If you live with other people, they should stay at home for at least 14 days, to avoid spreading the infection outside the home. After 14 days, anyone you live with who does not have symptoms can return to their normal routine.

But, if anyone in your home gets symptoms, they should stay at home for 7 days from the day their symptoms start. Even if it means they’re at home for longer than 14 days. The most up-to-date public guidance is always online at www.nhs.uk/coronavirus

If your symptoms are serious, or get worse, NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service that can tell you if you need further medical help and advise you what to do.

Only call 111 direct if you are advised to do so by the online service or you cannot go online.

CHANGE TO WALK IN SERVICES AT PINN MEDICAL CENTRE – 28 03 2020

MESSAGE FROM YOUR LOCAL NHS – CHANGES TAKING EFFECT AS OF SATURDAY 28TH MARCH 2020

 

Due to the Coronavirus public health crisis, the Pinn Medical Centre will temporarily become a GP Access Centre for non-Coronavirus patients only, in order to safely provide care. The centre will become a GP Access Centre service, providing a clinical resource for telephone triage, and a booked appointment service for non-Coronavirus patients. Patients will be notified when Walk-in Centre services resume

CORONAVIRUS – UPDATE 15 03 2020

In light of the current Coronavirus Pandemic, and as we enter the Delay stage of the pandemic, we will be closing our doors at Crowshott Avenue and William Drive to protect both Patients and Staff.  You can still reach us by calling 020 8951 3888 Monday to Friday 8am – 630pm.  We are still booking telephone consultations, where you will be assessed by a memmber of our Clinical team before attending surgery.  If you have a prebooked appointment, you will be contacted by telephone for assessment.

Repeat prescriptions can be requested by dropping through the letterbox at either surgry, using your online facility or using your local Pharmacy to request on your behalf.  We will be sending prescriptions back to a nominated pharmacy electronically, so please advise us of where you would like this sent.

PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY AS THE DOORS WILL BE LOCKED.
